Terms of Use

Service description

CareerOS provides career planning, self-assessment, learning roadmap, interview practice and application tracking tools. Features may change as the product develops.

No employment guarantee

CareerOS does not guarantee interviews, employment, salary, admission, certification or any hiring outcome. Readiness indicators and AI feedback are advisory only and are not validated employment assessments.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for ensuring that you have permission to upload or process any resume, job description or other material. Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive or infringing activity.

AI-generated content and third-party providers

AI feedback can be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. Verify important claims and do not rely on it as legal, financial, medical or professional certification advice. CareerOS provides two included AI analyses per day using its configured Gemini service, subject to quota and availability. The provider's unpaid-tier data handling terms may apply. Do not submit personal, sensitive, confidential or proprietary data to the hosted free AI tier.

Users may bring API keys for supported third-party AI providers. By doing so, you authorize CareerOS to forward the requested prompt/context and your key to that provider for the selected request. You are responsible for the key, provider terms, charges, quotas, model access, and revocation. CareerOS does not store BYOK keys in the account database; keys are held in browser session storage and used on request. Do not use this feature on a shared device.

Accounts and data

You are responsible for securing access to your account. Account export and deletion controls are provided in the workspace. Account deletion requires a recent sign-in session and configured server-side Supabase credentials; users should export data first. Guest browser-local data remains on the device and must be cleared separately.

Subscriptions and advertising

Paid plans and advertising are not active in this release. Before checkout is enabled, the final price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation, refund and tax terms will be displayed clearly.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an evolving basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CareerOS disclaims warranties and limits liability for indirect or consequential loss. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

The operator's legal name, business address, support contact and governing-law details must be added before commercial launch.
